Bilobed Mooper Moth, Megalographa biloba. Also known in the UK as Stephen's Gem, this moth favors the warm southern states, but can be seen further North in warmer months. The moths are active at night and mostly remain still and camaflouged on branches and sticks during the day. Noted for the white marking on the wings. Photographed this Bilobed Looper Moth on a early Spring day, resting in the sunlight.
