Class:Insecta Order:Hemiptera Family:Alydidae

Broad-headed Bug, Tollious?, Species unknown. This family of Broad-headed bugs are found in vegetated and wooded areas, and feed on seeds. I read that they can produce an odor with their scent glands when threatened, like Stink Bugs. Uncovered this Broad-headed Bug on a September morning.
