Class:Insecta Order:Neuroptera Family:Hemerobiidae


Brown Lacewing, Micromus posticus. Very common moth whose ancestral line reaches back to the Jurrasic Period! They are predatorial, and feed on aphids, flys, beetle larvae and more. Found this Brown Lacewing on a screen in early October.
