Insects/Bugs/Bees/Butterflies - Carpet Beetle
Class:Insecta Order:Coleoptera Family:Dermestidae

Carpet Beetle, Anthrenus verbasci. Carpet beetles are incredibly interesting to look at, but word has it they can be serious pests. The adults feed on pollen, but their larave feed on and can damage household fibers. The adults are round with different colored scaled, but the larvae are hairy and caterpillar-like. Noticed these tiny beetles in the Spring, working the tops of daisies. There were 3-6 per plant head.
