Insects/Bugs/Bees/Butterflies - Syrphid Fly
Class:Insecta Order:Diptera Family:Syrphidae

Also known as Hover Flies, Flower Flies and Bee Mimics. Hoverflies are bee mimics that, like the name suggests, hover around flowers like little helicopters. They look like Honeybees, Bumblebees and Wasps. How can you tell the difference between a bee mimic and the bee that it is imitating? First, take a look at the wings. Bees have four wings while flies only have two. Flies also have shorter antenna.
