Insects/Bugs/Bees/Butterflies - Stink Bug - One-spotted Stink Bug
Class:Insecta Order:Hemiptera Family:Pentatomidae Genus:Euschistus

One-spotted Stink Bug, Euschistus variolarius. This stink bug is identifiable by the spot that appears mid back. Like other stink bugs, they have odor producing scent glands and feed on vegetation and fruit trees. Stink Bugs give me as much trouble as Skippers and Asters. It is somewhat helpful that the One-spotted Stink Bug has a single vague spot on its back.

All species pages are currently being updated with more useful descriptions and information.
